Well it was a great 30th birthday for Emily! I had so much fun planning it and I know she felt loved and celebrated! I had plans for breakfast then a hike, carving pumpkins, her favorite meal, sushi and spring rolls and then cake and presents. Butttt, plans changed for the better when I asked her what she wanted to do! So we went out to breakfast at Harry's, went to the mall to hunt for a nice pair of jeans, came back to our house and watched Duck Dynasty (our newest obsession), looked through old family photos, ate her real favorite meal, pot roast, carrots, mashed potatoes with noodles on top, watched a slideshow of her photos as a kid, ate an awesome tie-dye 80s cake and opened mountains of gifts and cards! She had a day that she wanted and we couldn't have been happier!
